James Thompson will continue his FIA World Touring Car Championship campaign in China next week.
Thompson was drafted in to the ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport squad for WTCC Race of Slovakia in April where he deputised for team founder and driver René Münnich.
After surrendering the team’s Chevrolet RML Crize TC1, to Sabine Schmitz for WTCC Race of Germany, Thompson hasn’t missed an event since, establishing himself as a frontrunner in the WTCC Trophy for independent racers.
Münnich, meanwhile, is combining his WTCC programme with his FIA World Rallycross Championship commitments.
