ROMO Motorsporttechnik boss Ronald Leschhorn wants to add a second car to his team’s Intercontinental Rally Challenge line-up in 2011.

The German squad ran a solitary Peugeot 207 Super 2000 for Austrian Franz Wittmann on selected rounds of this year’s IRC series before expanding to two cars for the FxPro Cyprus Rally finale in early November when Frenchman Bryan Bouffier joined the team’s attack on a one-off basis.

"The idea is to have a second car for the IRC next year," said Leschhorn, who has been running Peugeot 207s for the past three seasons. "It’s always better to have two cars because you have more information and more possibilities."

Although Wittmann failed to secure a drivers’ point in 2010, despite several promising performances on his switch to Super 2000 machinery, Bouffier took four stage wins in Cyprus before landing a podium finish on the non-championship Love Cyprus Golden Stage Rally.
