Martin Kangur says it’s unclear how many Intercontinental Rally Challenge events he will tackle in 2012 because he is due to enrol at university in his native Estonia.

Kangur completed his seven-event IRC 2WD Cup programme with category victory on RACMSA Rally of Scotland aboard his JAS Motorsport-prepared Catwees Honda Racing Civic Type R.

“I would like to drive a Super 2000 car next year but we will see how things are with the budget”, said the 19-year-old. “But next year I will go to university so I have to concentrate on that.”

Of his triumph in Scotland, Kangur added: “I could only be sure of this first victory after we crossed the finish line; a victory that tastes wonderful after the setbacks we’ve had recently.”
