Rob HUFF – winner Race 1: “Finally I am very happy. Great result for me and the team and is exactly what I needed at this point in the season. I had a good fight with Tarquini before the safety car and then got a good restart. I had to look after the tyres for the last three laps while also keeping a gap but we needed a lucky weekend after the puncture’s we’ve had. It is great for everyone involved with the Chevrolet team, it’s been a cracker.”

Andy PRIAULX – winner Race 2: “It is a special day for BMW for sure. We came here really positive but yesterday we struggled and the car was difficult to drive but we got a good balance today which we carried through to the races. It’s getting close and exciting in the championship. I had a couple of DNFs early on in the season which really hurt me but we are back in the fight. We need to improve but we’re challenging. It will be won or lost at Macau which, as we all know, is a casino.”

Gabriele TARQUINI – second Race 1: “The first race was very good. My pace was faster than Rob’s at the start but he was able to save his position. It is good to score points but I had an injector problem for the second race. We knew we had the problem but didn’t have time to repair it in the small window between races which cost me the second race.”

Colin TURKINGTON – second Race 2: “It has been a really strong weekend for myself and team. It was a tough race. I got a good start and it was good to lead lap one. I couldn’t keep Priaulx behind though and my race was then just to keep Alain (Menu) behind. It was good to lead the field but to come away with a second and a fifth is a really good weekend for us.”

Alain MENU – third Race 1 & 2: “In Race 1 I was fast in the first few laps but Farfus was giving me a hard time, especially in the second sector. In Race 2 I tried to give Colin (Turkington) a good fight. The last two laps my tyres started to suffer a bit so I thought it was best to keep third for the team.”

Darryl O’YOUNG – Independent winner, Race 1 & 2, Rookie winner Race 2: “I had to start 15th in race 1 as we struggled in qualifying. I got a good start and passed about four or five cars and then just had to control between the manufacturers in front and the Independents behind. It was the perfect result for us today.”

Michel NYKJÆR – Rookie winner Race 1: “Right now it is very good. I made a small mistake but then I was behind Turkington pushing very hard. I am very satisfied with seventh position.”
