World Touring Car Championship star Rob Huff has completed his visit to Giru di Corsica-Tour de Corse, the fourth round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, with a tour of ŠKODA UK Motorsport’s service area in Corte.

Huff spent time with the team’s driver Andreas Mikkelsen and learned more about the Fabia Super 2000 similar to the one Mikkelsen used to win the IRC title in 2011.

“I haven’t been to a rally in more than 20 years and an asphalt rally like this is as close as it gets to circuit racing," said the Chevrolet WTCC ace. "It’s been a really good experience – I still can’t get over how spectacular the action has been.”

During his visit to Corsica, Huff has been driven through a stage in a Peugeot RCZ course car, joined rally fans spectating by the side of the road on stage three and watched Eurosport’s live coverage of stage five with members of the television production crew.

Huff is now heading back to the United Kingdom to begin his preparations for the next rounds of the WTCC at the Salzburgring in Austria next weekend.
