Luca Rossetti clearly has an affinity with the FIA European Rally Championship.
Rossetti is a three-time European champion and even though he wasn’t competing on the 2013 season-opening International Jännerrallye at the start of the month, the Italian still made the trip to Freistadt in Austria to soak up the atmosphere and watch the thrilling battle for victory unfold.
After winning the European title in 2008, 2010 and 2011, Rossetti spent 2012 successfully capturing the Turkish national crown in a Pegasus Racing ŠKODA Fabia Super 2000. However, he did make one appearance in the European championship, the combined ERC/Turkish championship Bosphorus Rally near Istanbul last July where finished third overall.
This year’s ERC resumes on Rally Liepāja-Ventspils in Latvia from 1-3 February.
