Jan Kopecký has received a huge boost in his efforts to win Barum Czech Rally Zlín for a second time after Škoda Motorsport team-mate Juho Hänninen suffered a high-speed spin in sixth gear and brushed a tree with the rear of his Fabia Super 2000, falling 30.2s behind the Czech driver.

Despite rain intensifying as the stage progressed, Bryan Bouffier (pictured), who was running fifth on the road, went fastest in his Peugeot 207 to leapfrog from sixth to second in the overall standings.

Kris Meeke is third in his 207 with Hänninen falling to fourth and Freddy Loix fifth. Local driver Roman Kresta dropped out of fifth position after stopping in the stage.
